Helping hands caring heart

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God”
The most dangerous people are the ones who just sit and watch what is going on. This is what most of us do. A man is beating his wife publicly but we just ignore it by saying that it is their “personal matter”. We are the future of this country and we just cannot ignore someone's pain because next could be you. If you want to live in a better world and make your future worth living then it is our responsibility to work for it. Help others. Serve people. Volunteer.

In the rape case on 26 December in Delhi, that girl and the boy were asking for help but nobody was even bothered to help them, when that girl was bleeding badly not even a single person came forward to help her. Her clothes were torn but nobody gave her a piece of cloth to cover her body. When she was pleading for help, nobody heard the pain in her cry. Lighting candles at India gate, does not mean we care for others. Raise your hands to help the moment when one really needs it. After it, there is no use of showing sympathy. The girl would have lived, but our own evil killed her.
The main reason why we do not help others is that we all are afraid of the law and that does no good. Police is to serve people, but they scare us because we are afraid of them.

This kind of attitude in people will affect our future, badly; there will be more corruption and more crime. Learn how to help others if you want others to help you. If a man is not treating her wife or girlfriend well publicly, so that is not their personal matter, not anymore.

Recently, I was travelling in Delhi metro with my friend and we were in the ladies’ compartment and suddenly two young men came and took seats there. One girl politely told them that this is ladies compartment and they should move to general compartment but those guys asked her to mind her own business. Then, I interfered and said the same thing out loudly and with that girl, they moved to the general compartment. So, if you raise your voice with others, it will make a better impact on them.

HELPING OTHERS HELPS YOU Research indicates that those who consistently help other people experience less depression, greater calmness, fewer pains, and better health. Doing good can make you feel good and it can help you feel stronger and more hopeful.
