Bigger and a Better way of Technology | Lenovo Yoga Tablet

As we all know ‘Tablet’ is shorter and a handy version of a laptop and bigger and wider version of a cell phone. A great technology merges two needs into one and that too very portable, comfortable, and accessible. I got my first tablet two years back and it still works satisfyingly but now as technology is growing rapidly I need some changes in my multipurpose machine.

I am a bookaholic, so my tablet is full of e-books. I make all my college presentations and write my blog posts. My nephew loves to play games in it, even my dad use it for his work or to access internet. Therefore, my tablet works a lot. 

But here are the problems with it - I need to carry the charger everywhere. I charge my tab in metro, class, restaurant and almost everywhere! However, it works completely but carrying a charger irritates my friends and me a lot. Another issue that irritates me even more is it has no support as a PC monitor has. Sometimes my hands go numb while carrying the tablet for a long time. Therefore, my tablet is better than nothing but definitely not an ideal one. 

My expectations from an ideal tablet are:

• A good battery backup is necessary in a tablet because that’s what it makes it different from a laptop i.e. mobility.
•  It should be light in weight.
• A support is also very important.

Being an engineer technology is my first love, so when new technology comes out that excites me a lot. Recently I heard that Lenovo introduced a bigger and a better tablet i.e. ‘Yoga tablet’. When I heard the name, I got puzzled but after reading the description, I clearly understood the reason behind it. Just like yoga maintains and helps to regain flexibility in a human body, this newly launched Lenovo Yoga tab is very flexible and you can use it in three different modes. Isn't it much more than we all have ever imagined? 

Technology means comfort and this tablet has it all. Now you can use it while eating, you can hold it for a longer time because it's light in weight and very comfortable as it is designed for every scenario just like this one- "you can create a list of all the groceries items and just hang it in your trolley and start exploring the store." It's not only a #BetterWay, it's the Best way!

Indiblogger Meet | #DanceItOut For #Women'sSafety

Few days back, I went to an Indiblogger meet, which was associated with Zee TV’s biggest dance reality show “Dance India Dance”. The meet started around 7ó clock in the evening and I went there with my few fellow bloggers Aditya Bhasin, Ankita Mahajan, Gaurav Chawla and Arvind Mohan. And like any other Indi meet it was well organized at The Oberoi, New Delhi.

After some interactive sessions, finally, DID-4 new judges MuddarsarKhan and Feroz Khan came and they gave a mind-blowing performance. Then they told us about their new concept which they started in dance india dance season-4 is “Dance for a Cause”. Isn’t it unique?

They separated us in 7 teams with each having 20 bloggers. I was the team leader for my group and our topic was “Safety for women on streets”. I chose this topic because it’s really close to my heart, being a girl I have faced many incidents on our Delhi roads. In our act, we tried to cover everything that actually happens on streets.  The judges and the audience loved our performance a lot and we got so much appreciation for it. So many bloggers tweeted for our performance and gave their consent.

As i mentioned above that this topic is close to my heart, well here is the reason:  I still remember the time when i was coming back home from my tuition centre, and suddenly two boys came near to my rickshaw and they touched me. I felt helpless because they were huge physically. I still remember the time when, i was in 10^th standard and was preparing for my board exams, so that’s why I got late that day and faced such a shameful incident. Just like I faced this, many women have faced and still facing such shameful happenings daily. And that's why I want to #DanceItOut for women's safety on streets and want to fight for women’s equal right to roam on streets at night. This is for all the ladies who has a fear of going out after seven. India is continuously growing economically but this is the dark side of it where chauvinistic and misogynistic attitude still exist.  

After all the performances, when judges were about to announce the result I actually crossed my fingers because everyone performed really well. All of our team members were sitting together and were praying and suddenly judges shouted our team name #SafetyForWomen, we all went crazy and rushed towards the stage. All of us got Shopper’s stop shopping vouchers and we also danced with the judges. This was one of my best Indimeet ever. Thank you Indiblogger for giving me so many memorable moments.

"Raanjhanaa star-cast at Sharda University"

Sharda University, the place where I studied and completed my engineering. On 14^th June, Sonam Kapoor, Dhanush and Anand L. Rai(who directed "Tanu weds manu") came to our college to promote their upcoming movie “Raanjhanaa”. One of my friend who is a PRO told me about this and I was so excited. After a week, I got a mail from my college about this event.

Gurleen and I went to college that day, Sonam Kapoor was not the only reason, but we had some work their too. We reached college around 8:30 am. And the event was to start at 11ó clock. So we did our work as early as possible and due to some reason, Gurleen had to go somewhere, so I reached our auditorium at around 10:45.

The seats were occupied but luckily I got one in the middle of the Audi. There were media and some bouncers too for the security of the stars. Around 1, finally they all came, and undoubtedly Sonam was looking so gorgeous in white suit that any guy can go crazy.

Oops I just said crazy, this is what the whole audience were acting like. People were shouting, hooting, and clicking pictures.

Finally, the much-awaited event started off, and just to calm down the audience, Dhanush sang kolavari di. But people were not interested in listening; they were actually beholding Sonam’s beauty. And that’s not all, not only the students, teachers were on the chairs.

Due to all the rush, PR team cancelled the program and even Sharda University was worried because what happened with Sonu Nigam was bad enough, so they didn’t wish to take another risk. In the mail, it was mentioned that, they would distribute music cd’s but due to the lack of security, it was a complete failure of the event.

Engineers on cloud 365!

"Indian by birth, engineer by choice". I hope that Indiblogger will not sue me for this. Well, Life of an engineer is not very easy, as it seems. Eight long semesters, 60+ exams, so many assignments and that’s not all, in every semester we have to give so many presentations, projects and research papers for all subjects as well. There is lot more pain; I cannot discuss everything here as this may deviate me from my topic that I am going to write.

High fee, less time makes our life even more disgusting. Do you know why Delhi University students have a better life than any engineering college student does?  Well because in Delhi University, students have negligible fees as compared to B.tech course fees per annum, so they can take money from their parents anytime for shopping, and they have even time for it.

If I talk about myself, my college is at a distance of 65 km far from my college. Soon, my final semester exams are coming and before that, we have to give presentations for each subject. I remember in my last semester on the day of presentation I forgot my pen drive at home and as I mentioned above the distance between my college and my home, it was impossible for me to go home and bring the pen drive. I still regret for being so careless.

Now, it’s my final semester going on and this time I don’t want to take any chance, so this time before I’ll leave for college, I’ll just upload it on cloud, which is a great service provided by Microsoft which will follow me wherever I’ll go and 65 is now just a number. But you must be thinking that how I’ll afford such a great service. So here is a good news for all the students just like me who cannot afford it, Airtel is now associated with Microsoft and they are providing their services together in a very cheap amount, which is very affordable. The amount you pay for two movie tickets with all the eatables is all you have to pay for this service. Isn't it great?
